Google has just&nbsp;confirmed&nbsp;a security update that includes at least three high-severity fixes for vulnerabilities of the kind that have been exploited in the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two of the three vulnerabilities relate to Chrome\u2019s JavaScript and WebAssembley engine, with the potential to enable a \u201cremote attacker to potentially exploit object corruption via a crafted HTML page.\u201d There are no suggestions yet of any exploits are actively being used in the wild, but now the information is public that will change very quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other fix is for a use after free issue, which means an attacker might be able to use latent pointers to route through to memory after it\u2019s freed up, with the risk that the platform or device might be destabilized, opening up other vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SecureSphere (NZ) urgently recommends that users update their version of Google Chrome to the latest version (Version 124.0.6367.61 (Official Build) (64-bit)).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SecureSphere can help with the updating process.
